Training Sessions

Volunteer Carroll, in partnership with Carroll Community College is pleased to present the Volunteer Management Training Series, provided by the Points of Light Foundation. This six-part series will help non-profit, government and community organizations organize and implement their volunteer program. Topics include:

  • Understanding Volunteering.
  • Planning Your Volunteer Program.
  • Recruiting and Placing Volunteers.
  • Orienting and Training Volunteers.
  • Supervising and Recognizing Volunteers.
  • Evaluating Your Volunteer Program.

This highly interactive, hands-on program is geared toward administrators and coordinators in various types of service organizations. Training series will begin Summer 2004 at Carroll Community College. For more information contact us at 410.871.6486.

Volunteer Carroll can provide low-cost speakers to community groups, businesses and government agencies.
